I'd say he's had a disappointing season, and in a Pirelli sponsored car!! Not who I would have picked. Good luck anyway.

Gould is thought to be one of the brightest talents in the UK I have read, so lets hope he is a quick learner ! Gr N drivers are driving the S2000 cars with to much left brake in the beginning, and wearing out the pads.

Good luck Adam !

I'm a bit surprised that the Higgins brothers didn't go for the drive. Maybe they preferred to stand aside for some younger talent.

Gould isn't a big name, but all of the most experienced and quickest Brits around at the moment already have drives for Scotland.

I think it's a good decision, I have not seen much of him this year as I have only been to one BRC event but he looked awesome when he was in his Clio

It will be interesting to see how he goes but glad that it has gone to a younger driver to give them a chance, rather than Higgins, Wilks etc (even though I love watching them...).

If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

not a hope dont know where you are reading your info but most wouldnt rate him highly,
ali fisher started the year on the same footing having never driven a gpn car and he kicked his ass big time in the brc,and dont be suprised if hes not far off him time wise on this rally with his own evo,
what a joke to disgaurd niall mcshea the selection team must be blind not to see what he is, give the man the car and he be there or there abouts we all know what he done in a few stages in rallyireland in a fairy middle of the road s2000 car.,
it just shows you that thes tyre company prize drives are more or less a farce

Is BFG considering continuing the scheme next season?

Evans, Miggins and Wilks from England/Scotland/Wales, maybe Bogie too (no particular order). That's it, is there anybody else?

Mark Higgins applied for this drive but strangely didn't even make the final 5! I'm guessing that Kronos/BFG and the judges were favouring a younger driver and that is why drivers like Mark and in the final run down McShea didn't really get any support.
