Yes, you may be able to do this. I installed it all on my C: drive but then got another drive for gaming, which became my G: drive and I simply copied the whole RBR folder over and changed the desktop links to the correct location and it all works perfectly.

I only found one corner that was wrong on Mont Herman, it said one way and the road went the other, but overall its not bad. They are as consistent on those stages as they are in the original stages I feel. They are fine on Tervainen. So where's the problem?
Did my runs last night. Bad, but I managed to finish this one. Ended two stages with no brakes and DNF'd on one with a blown engine and had the engine boiling on Sweetlamb too. But that Impreza is very weak and not consistent. I hit side-on at the first Sweetlamb hairpin and that apparently damaged the radiator completely???
Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only one having trouble on this event so lets see what the results bring.

BTB tracks graphically, look good-no doubt over that!
But I think they could have been much better, regarding the grip Issue...
Tarmac stages feel absolutely great but on gravel, I don't enjoy the
feeling very much! Feels like driving on glass or not?
In addition, the lack of particles give a false perception of the road surface...

I know what you mean...Laptops unfortunately don't support
RBR decently! Low graphics and gameplay alteration
are the most common symptoms!
Unless we're taliking about a powerful laptop...

In my opinion the notes are consistent but not detailed enough to drive fast with them. Medium Left and Medium Right is all good what if there is a crest. How far apart are the corners? But it is the same for everyone, so it is fair play. I try to keep tighter with the cornering as the corners might be long and they can even tighten bad, even when it just says K corner.

I could have been that the body deformed and bent the radiator or maybe it ruptured the hose going into the radiator. Don't know how detailed the damage model is in RBR.
Am I right if I say that this it is longest RBR rally we have had so far. I'm looking forward seeing the result for this one.

Yes, I've noticed that - there are no distances to the corners. You get this instruction, think its over the next crest, get there and its still about 100 metres up the road.
I'm sure it is, distance-wise. The results should be really interesting.
The funny thing is, driving the Mont Herman stages I was thinking "geez, when is this ever going to end!", but when I got to the end of the Tervaniemi 15km stage I was thinking "aw man, is that it?!? Let me do that again!!!" Man, that stage is THE stage of RBR!
We should have a fun-event rallysprint there after next season.

I agree, Tervaniemi has Impressed me the mostl so far!
It's more like a real route than a game stage!

Day1 report -
7th Nov 09, 07:47
Finished Day1! After a clean run of Tervaniemi came the exhausting Mont-Herman v.4!!!
A couple of spuns, one call for spestators help
and some not very well performed hairpin turns, were my bad moments!
The last 2km before finish were breath taking!
Generally I drove carefully, but I risked flooring It a bit, at some occasions!
Day 2+3 will be more challenging, as I have never run Mont-Herman v.3
and Tervaniemi 15km before!

I've finished day one and it was very tough one.
On the first stage I missed the first junction and stalled the car twice. Lost some time there and had a clear run of the stage after that. The funny thing is I had the junction marked in the notes but because the start of the stage was so fast I didn't expect it to come so soon.
SS2 was very tough. Because it was slippy I had to corner sideways like group A cars used to in the 90's. Because of this I had few near misses due to the fact that some corners turned out to be very long ones and I had to brake midcorner to fit on the road. I also had an off 16km into the stage when there was K left on the crest. I thought it would K left after the crest but no it wasn't. I went down the hill but luckily the car stayed in one piece and I managed to finish the stage. Though I did get in rhytm on the stage but most of the time I was braking too early for the corners which also I think had impact on my stage time.
Overall I think it was good day and can't wait for day two and three.

Awful rally for me. DNF'd on two stages. Due to the complete lack of consistency in the notes for mount herman.

Day 2 and 3 report -
8th Nov 09, 14:03
Finished day two and three. Things went normally on most of the stages as I got more used to the car.
I had an incident on SS4 when about 3km into the stage I hit a small tree with rear of the car because I was carrying too much speed through the corner.
SS5 went OK'sh. I struggled on some parts of the stages. Especially at the end where was series of K turns. I also braked too early for some corners and possible that cost me time. I took special care 16km into the stage and didn't wanted to go off there again.
SS6 nothing special but I was driving slow I guess and just wanted finish the stage. I never liked the Japan stages anyway.
On SS3 and SS7 I didn't had any problems. Probably I was more flat out on the last stage than I had been in any other stages in the rally.
Overall a good long rally and I really liked it's length. I wonder if we could make rallies the same lenght in the season 2. Will look forward to results.
Here are view picture from SS6 as it was the only stage with out of the car replay possibility. Note on the second picture that the marshal doesn't even care that a rally car is driving by.

They are not necessary. Update 6 already contains update 5 and update 9 contains update 8. Check here for updates currently for RSRBR 2009.
